Methods in Robotic Surgery

The method in robotic surgery involves several steps

Preparation The patient is prepared for surgery, which may include anesthesia and sterilization of the surgical site.
Setup The surgical team sets up the robotic system, including positioning the robotic arms and attaching surgical instruments.
Incisions Small incisions are made in the patient’s body to access the surgical site. These incisions are typically smaller than those used in traditional open surgery.
Insertion of Instruments The surgeon inserts the surgical instruments into the patient’s body through the small incisions. These instruments are attached to the robotic arms and controlled by the surgeon from a console.
Console Control The surgeon sits at a console in the operating room and controls the movement of the robotic arms and instruments. The surgeon views the surgical site through a high-definition 3D camera system.
Surgery The surgeon performs the surgical procedure using the robotic instruments, guided by real-time imaging and feedback from the robotic system.
Closure After completing the procedure, the surgeon removes the instruments and closes the incisions with sutures or surgical staples.
Recovery The patient is monitored closely in the recovery room and may stay in the hospital for observation depending on the complexity of the surgery and their individual needs.
